Reiki Mastership
The objective of Reiki Mastership is to enable practitioners to teach Reiki and deepen their own healing and spiritual practices.
Reiki Mastership is the highest level of training and attainment in the discipline of Reiki, a form of alternative medicine originally developed in Japan in the early 20th century. This practice is centered around the idea of transferring universal energy through the palms, which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium.
Reiki Mastership is a significant commitment to the practice of Reiki, involving advanced training, the ability to teach others, and a deep commitment to personal and spiritual growth. It represents not just a higher level of skill, but also a greater responsibility to uphold the principles of Reiki.
Anyone Can learn Reiki
Leaming Reiki is a very simple technique. It does not need any degree or education nor any intellectual capacity. It does not take years of practice. When God wants you to be his channel you yourself are drawn towards a reiki master. Don’t you wonder that you leam reiki from whom you have never met before nor you know anything about him/her. So master of this universe has already set a place and guru for you.
Bipolar nature of Reiki
Reiki is bipolar in nature. It is made of both male and female healing energies. The male part is associated with the crown and higher energies and is called Shiva. The female part comes from below, is associated with the root chakra and is called shakti. So while giving healing both the energies communicate with each other and the proper combination of male and female energies flow from healer’s hands.
All About Reiki Mastership
Reiki Mastership is the highest level of training and attainment in the discipline of Reiki, a form of alternative medicine originally developed in Japan in the early 20th century. This practice is centered around the idea of transferring universal energy through the palms, which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium.
Levels of Reiki Training
Reiki training is generally divided into three main levels, with Mastership being the third:
Level I (Shoden): In the first level, students are introduced to Reiki energy. They learn how to perform healing on themselves and others through hands-on practice. The focus is on opening the energy channels to allow the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy.
Level II (Okuden): The second level deepens the practice through the use of symbols and mantras that enhance the practitioner’s ability to connect with and channel energy. At this stage, practitioners can also perform distant healing, which allows them to send healing energy across space and time.
Level III – Reiki Master (Shinpiden): The Mastership level involves more advanced training, which often includes learning additional symbols, advanced techniques, and the ability to attune new students to Reiki. Mastery of Reiki at this level typically means that the practitioner is also capable of teaching Reiki to others.
Becoming a Reiki Master
The path to becoming a Reiki Master varies significantly from one teacher or lineage to another. Some key aspects include:
Duration of Training: The time it takes to reach Mastership can vary widely. Some practitioners may take several years between each level to practice and internalize the teachings, while others may progress more quickly.
Attunements: Each level of Reiki training involves an attunement process where a Reiki Master uses specific techniques to open up the energy channels in the student’s body more fully to Reiki energy. Attunements are essential for progressing through the Reiki levels.
Practice and Self-Development: Essential to Reiki training is the continuous practice of self-healing and healing others, as well as a commitment to personal growth and spiritual development.
Teaching: As a Reiki Master, one significant role is to teach and initiate others into Reiki. This includes passing on the knowledge, techniques, and attunements necessary for each level of training.
Responsibilities and Ethical Considerations
Reiki Masters carry the responsibility of maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the practice. This includes adhering to ethical practices, being mindful of the needs and boundaries of students and clients, and committing to their own ongoing personal and spiritual development.
Criticism and Scientific Perspective
While many individuals report positive experiences with Reiki in terms of relaxation and emotional healing, it is important to note that Reiki remains scientifically unproven. Critics argue that any benefits are likely due to the placebo effect. As such, Reiki should not be seen as a substitute for conventional medical treatment, but rather as a complementary approach.
Ethical Considerations and Responsibilities
1. Integrity and Authenticity
Reiki Masters are expected to practice and teach with the highest integrity, honoring the traditions and maintaining the purity of the teachings.
2. Professionalism
Whether in healing sessions or in a classroom setting, maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for all individuals is crucial.
3. Spiritual and Personal Growth
Reiki Masters should continue to pursue their own spiritual growth, embodying the principles of Reiki in all aspects of life, which also enhances their ability to teach and heal others effectively.
Even after attaining Reiki Mastership, the journey of learning and growth continues. Reiki Masters engage in ongoing study, practice, and self-reflection to deepen their understanding of Reiki and refine their skills as healers and teachers.
Reiki Mastership is a significant milestone in the practice of Reiki, marking a profound commitment to healing, spiritual development, and service to others. Reiki Masters play a vital role in preserving and transmitting the wisdom of Reiki, guiding and inspiring others on their own paths of healing and transformation.

“Reiki channels are not doctors so they never discourage the healee from continuing his on-going medicines. especially in severe conditions. Just add Reiki healing to ongoing treatment and sliently watch the amazing recovery. That is why it is called alternate healing therapy.
Sometimes you see no apparent cause for disease, nothing comes in diagnosis also then the disease or disorder must be understood as deeply due to past karmas and it requires healing for a very very long time. Because you as a channel cannot challenge or fight the CREATOR OF THIE UNIVERSE.
A functional disorder heals faster than a settled pathological disorder, e.g. a ‘slipped disc problem may take a long time to heal, but the accompanying pain, inflammation etc. can be rapidly relieved by Relki. Genetic problems are due to hard karmas and may require measures such as surgery, However there are no limits to the healing process—- the person can be healed and be in harmony regardless of the end result.
How can we find the root of the problem ? Internally request reiki to guide you, ask relevant questions and allow your feedback mechanism to guide you. It will tell you which area requires the maximum healing. Be in harmony with the healing process and the channeling of loving energies. Learn to listen to and trust your inner voice and guidance. Always request Reiki to guide you.
Healing energy always flow according to the need of healee. Some grandmasters have compared this to breast feeding a baby. The mother does not decide she will dispence 1.25 or 35 or 40 ml., of milk to the baby. The baby takes as much as needed. Same is the position of Reiki healers, they make available the healing energy in the best possible way and the healee withdraws as much as required to his/her body. So remember: JUST DO IT, JUST LET REIKI FLOW
